Orbitrek™ Elite combines waist slimming cardio with the power of resistance training all in one revolutionary machine, so you get an awesome muscle sculpting and calorie burning workout at the same time.

This new feature allows you to crank up the resistance all the way to burn up to 820 calories per hour. Your workout benefits have just been doubled!

Results from a major university EMG study prove that Elite activates 6 major muscle groups - all at the same time! Buns, thighs, arms, shoulders, back, and chest. The more muscles you work - The more calories you burn!

It's compact size is ideal for even the smallest house or apartment and the EASY GLIDE WHEELS make it simple to roll just about anywhere.

The Orbitrek™ Elite is more compact than the Original Orbitrek™, it takes up less room, features larger pedals and is virtually silent.

Orbitrek™ Platinum vs.
The New Orbitrek™ Elite

  1. The flywheel of the Elite is a metal flywheel instead of a plastic wheel like the Platinum. The metal flywheel is heavier which makes the running of the Elite product much more smooth and quite.
  2. The tension adjustment of the Elite is a 4 section tension control where the Platinum is a free tension control.
  3. The resistance system of the Elite is with a friction pad system where the Platinum has a tension belt system.

Both machines are made with a very high quality and both are a great investment for your overall health and fitness!

Orbitrek™ Elite is the perfect non-impact total body workout for all age groups and all fitness levels!

"This is one piece of fitness equipment you'll be proud to have in your home!

And with Orbitrek™ Elites whisper quiet technology you can even have fun watching TV while you get an amazing workout."

The Orbitrek™ Elite still features a total body workout with no impact and best of all improvement is in the "turn and resistance".

I purchased this machine and have been extremely serious about losing weight ever since I gained 40 pounds with my last pregnancy! When the box arrived I felt like a kid in a candy store! LOL! I brought it in, put it together (which is surprising because I'm a dope when it comes to assembling anything!!) and hopped on it --- WOW!!!! I was only on it the first time for a few minutes and my legs, hips, butt, arms and back were burning and sweat was pouring from every part of my body! I am now up to 16 minutes a day (4 days a week). I've had the machine for exactly 10 days and I have lost 12 pounds!!! I didn't even change my eating habits, just started eating smaller portions. I am so happy with this machine and I am truly thankful that I found it!

How portable is the machine, can it be easily moved from room to room or up & down stairs?

I was a member of U.S. Air Force TACP for four years and trained with other elite units as well, thoughout my career. You could say I know more than a little bit about hard core workouts. I am now a federal agent and prior to pinning on my badge, had to get through a pretty strenuous "PT" program in the academy.
Prior to the academy, I had about a two year fitness lull, as I had been out of the military during that time. In preparation to the academy, I got my then out of shape self into great condition by using the original Orbitrek in combination with a 4.00 jump rope and calisthenics. When I went to the academy, the instructors (who workout all day during their minimum six month detail there) tried to "smoke" all the students in daily PT. They suceeded in doing so to all but one: Me. I truly believe that the Orbitrek was instrumental in my developing superb leg, lung and heart power. I would vary my movements to incorporate not only the "running" motion, but also do "dead starts", kind of like doing a lunge and squat motion to really crank up my endurance and build some explosive thighs and unbeatable lungs. Two years ago, I gave my old Orbitrek away to a neighbor who was preparing to enter selection for the U.S. Army Special Forces (He made it) and my fitness has consequently suffered due to current job hours. The efficiency and convenience of having an Orbitrek in my own home is something that I miss and is much needed. That's why I'm ordering the most recent model today. I feel that I have to praise it a little bit here because I gained so much from using it. And for those of you who are thinking it: No, it's not the same as running, nothing quite is. It WILL help you with your running though, expecially if you really work your legs in the "lunge/squat" type motion I mentioned earlier. You can't get that same effect from running, so it balances out and will carry over. I never felt even close to being tired on the group runs throughout the academy. I'm a not what you'd call a natural distance runner either, so if it worked for me, I'm sure you'll benefit too.

I bought an obitrek almost ten years ago, both my wife and I use the machine on a regular basis, I have fallen arches, capcelitus, and only 60% of the cartiledge left in one ankle and foot from injuries while in the military, i can use the obitrek for 30 minutes and get a very good workout

I received my replacement Orbitrek yesterday.I had it put together in 20 minutes and on I went. It is so nice (and what a great workout!) I Love It! Thank You So Much!

I love my new Orbitrek Elite! It only took about one hour for me to set up and so far seems to be a substantial machine. It will be great for me because I work 2 jobs and am limited on workout time so I'll be able to work out and won't have to be deprived of my TV watching time. The only problem with it is that I'm so out of shape and it's such a good workout machine that I wasn't able to stay on it for more than 5 minutes at minimum resistance. Will have to work up to the workout DVD that was included. I like that you can do different exercises on it like the cycling, squats etc. Thanks for such a great product at a reasonable price!

I haven't purchased this yet. I wanted to know first if you can pedal backwards like you can on a typical eliptical machine???

COMPANY REPLY: Your Orbitrek Elite has reversable
movement. Forward pedalling emphasizes your
quadriceps muscle (front thighs), while backwards
pedalling emphasizes your hamstrings (back thighs).

Good cardio work out. I did not utilize the 6 weeks or 12-day food guide, however, it look like very good recommendations. Overall, this equipment gives you a very good work out with just 30-45 min 3 times per week. I purchased product to use for staying tone and having an active work out. My major objective was not weight loss. I will very pleased at the amount of training needed to remain at a consistant work out level.

I got my orbitrek elite about 2 and a half months ago... I couldn't use it much for the first couple of weeks because I was so out of shape. I am 28 years old and I weighed about 230 (at 6'1"). After using the orbitrek for 20-35 minutes a day for 6 days a week over the last 60 days, I have lost 25 lbs and I am down to 205. All I did with my diet was limit my caloric intake as best I could (I am a VERY picky eater) without "starving" myself. I think 12.5 lbs per month is a great result and I owe it all to the orbitrek. It literally saved my life. It's the first exercise machine that I have been able to get into a consistent routine with, and the efforts are paying off. Pretty soon I will be at my goal weight of 185! I can't wait!

I was so excited when I recieved my orbitrek elite on Friday. I put it together by myself and it took about 45 mins. I liked that he instructions were very clear and all of the parts were included. Once I got it assembled, I got on it to start my first workout. What a workout, I was only able to stay on it for 10 mins and I was pouring with sweat. I have a goal to be up to a full 15 mins by the end of the week. I am so glad that I purchased the orbitrek. I found to be very affordable with the flex pay and a very sturdy machine. It is worth every penny.

Reviewer's comments: Posted on Jul 1, 2008, 10:45 am by MIch

What is the weight limit on the machines?

I have arthritis in my knees. I used to run 5 miles daily. Due to the arthritis that is no longer possible and I have really packed on some pounds. This seems like it would be easier on my joints than running on a sidewalk.

COMPANY REPLY: THE MAXIMUM WEIGHT CAPACITY OF THE ORBITREK ELITE IS 275 LBS (125 kgs). Orbitrek™ Elite is the perfect non-impact total body workout for all age groups and all fitness levels!

Reviewer's comments: Posted on Jun 30, 2008, 10:48 am by Regina

Does the Orbitrek have to be placed on a hard surface? I have a low-pile carpet in the room I want to place it in.

COMPANY REPLY: Many of our customers place their Orbitreks on carpet and it works great and is sturdy.

OMG-I wanted my husband to buy the Orbitrek Elite for me for my Birthday and just used it for my first time yesterday. Wow what a workout, but I was only able to do it for 5 min. I've been working out on the treadmill and also doing the Slim N 6 tapes and was very surprised that I could only do it for 5 min. Can anyone tell me how long it took them before they could even be on it for 1/2 hour?

Reviewer's comments: Posted on Mar 24, 2008, 11:54 am by Vanessa

I received this machine about a week and a half ago and it is the best exercise machine i have ever bought. its really strong and sturdy and its really fun. Doesnt feel like a lot of work and ive lost 2 pounds so far. Its a great machine well worth the money spent. I have a small apartment and it doesnt take up a lot of space. its so small and compact i love it.

How frequently do i have to apply the extra grease that was given in the separate container and in which areas of the machine do i have to apply it to??

Reviewer's comments: Posted on Mar 16, 2008, 8:37 am by Marianne

I was wondering what the stride length is on the orbitreck. Is the stride length ajustable? Also what is the foot size of the footpad?

COMPANY REPLY: The stride length is around 11 inches and is not adjustable, however the tension is. The foot pedal is 12 inches long.

Reviewer's comments: Posted on Mar 16, 2008, 8:31 am by Anne

Can you lock it so the kids can't get their fingers stuck in it?

COMPANY REPLY: No, the Orbitrek does not have a locking system.

I just got my Orbitrek about two weeks ago, and I want to say, I LOVE IT! I am amazed at how quickly I can get my heart rate up to my target, and it doesn't even feel like work! It was easy to put together, and is absolutely silent so you can watch tv to make the time go by even faster! This is something I would totally recommend for people who love to walk/run but don't have the weather to do it, or don't have access (or don't want to)to a gym. Way worth the small amount of money it costs.

I just received my Orbitrek Elite Feb. 14,08. It was easy to assemble especially with the tools included. It's a great machine I plan to use to get back into shape.

I received my Orbitrek Elite about a week ago and I am doing 2 miles every morning & 2 miles in the evening. I am hoping to work myself up to about 5 miles each time on it. It's a great workout and I think I am going to be very happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about purchasing it. This is my first piece of equipment in the home and I am so glad my husband talked me into it instead of the treadmill.

My boyfriend bought the orbitrek elite and I worked out on it once so far, I have a cold and did 1.25 miles and I really liked how easy it was on my body.

Reviewer's comments: Posted on Feb 1, 2008, 9:04 pm by Jason

Got the Elite today and my son and I assembled it in about 15 minutes.

Had my 1st work out watching the video that was included...I went about 8-10 minutes and had to stop cause the workout was that intense. I had been hanging in the house all winter and not riding my actual bike like in the summer. I'd say the 8-10 minutes on the Elite felt like so much more of a workout than an hour on a real bike. The elite is a keeper.

I just received my new Orbitrek Elite in January (2008), and I love it! It is a really good machine for such a low price. I am gradually improving up to 25 minutes so far. I have low ceilings, but was happy to find that I still have plenty of room. It's small and quiet and I move it wherever I want. But I have 2 questions, what exactly is the grease for, and is the owner's manual available online somewhere (there's some duplicate pages in my manual and I was wondering if it's missing any info)?

Reviewer's comments: Posted on Jan 20, 2008, 11:22 am by Jennifer

Can you tell me the warranty on the Orbitrek Elite? Thanks!

COMPANY REPLY: The manufacturer warranty is 1 year however during your ordering process you are able to upgrade that warranty to a longer period of time.

Reviewer's comments: Posted on Jan 18, 2008, 8:48 pm by Nancy

I've had my Orbitrek Elite for about a week and I've already noticed a difference in my legs. I'm starting with 5 min at a time, but gradually will increase my time as I get stronger. I'm 59 years old, and know my limit. I do a lot of sitting at my work, and the Orbitrek Elite meets my needs. Helps me relax and makes me feel good about myself. For the money, it will be a good investment for me. Really works. Easy to use and lots of fun. I highly recommend the Orbitrek Elite.

I received my Orbitrek Elite one week ago and just got the time to put it together (plus it took a week to convience my husband to let me keep it). I love it!! After we got it together, he got on it for just a few minutes and couldn't believe what a good work out it was. He was also impressed with how small, sturdy and quiet it is. i have a total right knee replacement in 2005 so i gained weight and i have never had much weight on me i was always a small size but i gained a lot of weight when i had to lie around and recover from the knee replacement all over equipment i tried was so painful for me, as i in 1999 i had a low back disk removed and in 2000 i had my whole lower back fused with steel rods and screws and then in 2005 a total right knee replacement so its been so hard for me to use other equipment but after i got on this i was able to use it, and if its easier enough for me to use and i am disabled then i would recommend it to anyone even my kids like using it and they are 7 and 8yrs old boys they love it too, and i want my kids to always know that exercise is a good thing and they always saw me small but then after my last knee surgery i gained so much in my belly i looked like i was pregnant again LOL, now i am finally loosing it, thanks for making equipment that even someone like me can use thanks,

It is very small, light weight and wheels are smooths to pedal. It is quiet and I like it very much. I am doing exercise daily for 20 minutes without grudging feeling before wash. Only thing for critical maybe it has little space between chest and bars, of course that's why it is so compact. Overall it is good investment and money well spent.

Is there any assembly involved? Can it be done by one person?

COMPANY REPLY: Yes, there is about 20-30 minutes worth of assembly required, however we have included a very detailed instruction manual. But to answer your question, yes it can be done with just one person. Also, if you need help with your unit, please feel free to call the tech support and they can guide you through.

I just bought the Elite and it was delivered (very fast) today. There is some assembly but no trouble for my husband. He is impressed with how sturdy and strong it is. I told him what I paid for it and he said, "Well, it was worth it!" And he never says things like that! :)They forgot to send my heart monitor though, so I will call them in the morning.

I want to order the Orbitrek elite but when I tried to call all I got was computer voices. Do you have real people on the phones? It is difficult to trust a company that you can not get through to a human.

COMPANY REPLY: You can call 888-721-4097 and reach a live customer service agent that will be happy to help you. Customer Service is open Monday through Saturday 6:00am - 6:00pm PST.

This is truly a great machine for one who loves the gym. It is great because I feel like a get a great work out at home without leaving my home. The price is very reasonable for the quality of this machine

I purchased the Orbitrek Elite & truly love it. You can get your heart rate up to fat burning zone in a matter of minutes. It will keep your knee joints moving without taking pills.
